Manchester Police Athletic League Youth Development Cycling Program

    About the Program

2009 is the 5th year of the youth program which is geared to both the novice and experienced cyclists.

Using a well structured format and a dedicated team of coaches including the legendary Mr. Dick Ring, the program steers the participants from start to finish through basic track riding skills, safety and introductory racing techniques. Riders will have the opportunity to race weekly. Our participants enjoy the thrill of bike riding and racing while testing the limits of their fitness. Bicycle track racing not only encourages physical activity but also boosts concentration, self confidence and coordination.
