VELOCITY BMX TRACK

Progress is being made on the new Velocity BMX Track!  The initial jumps are being constructed with the help of Bobcat of NH and the Thibeault Corporation of NH.  We are still looking for clean fill, sand, clay and dirt.

• What is BMX racing ? BMX racing is a type of off-road bicycle racing. The format of BMX was derived from motocross racing . BMX bicycle races are sprint races on purpose-built off-road single-lap race tracks. The track usually consists of a starting gate for up to eight racers, a groomed, serpentine, dirt race course made of various jumps, and a finish line. The course is banked and has flat corners. BMX is an exciting action sport that is open to all ages, male and female and offers a large number of racing classes and skill proficiences.  Also, BMX is the newest Olympic sport!
